What changes
The demonstration includes period setup, a planned pay schedule, actual received income, bills and due dates, recording a payment, and automatic bill and dashboard totals. Payments are entered manually; the spreadsheet does not send money.
The example records a $65 internet payment, linked to bill B-002. Cash changes from $1,467.35 to $1,402.35. Open bills change from $155 to $90. With the same $180 variable-spending reserve, projected carry stays $1,132.35.

Try the same workflow in your private copy
Use a separately imported DEMO copy to learn, and CLEAN for your figures. Record an actual payment only once and choose its bill occurrence. Review both cash and the amount still open. The import guide explains setup; the planned-versus-actual guide explains why the two totals move together.
